Tech Specs for Optimal Prints

File Formats:
- Flattened TIF/PSD recommended for highest quality
- JPEG/PDF accepted but at risk of loss in quality

Image Formats:
- 8-bit RGB TIF (16 bit formats will be sampled down to 8 bit before printing)
- CMYK TIF/PSD accepted but color fidelity not guaranteed
- BMP, GIF, EPS, PICT accepted but at risk of loss in quality

Profiles:
- Color profiles such as sRGB/Adobe 1998 must be embedded for control of color quality

Black & White Images:
- 8 bit Grayscale recommended
- 8 bit RGB accepted
 
Image Spatial Resolution:
- 360 ppi
- 180 ppi for images over 1.5 GB
- JPEGs must be scaled to final image size at 300 ppi to avoid spatial distortion

Layouts and Finished Pages:
- PDF recommended for preservation of font and layout
- unflattened PSD accepted if fonts required are provided separately in .ttf files
- Post script (PS) format with embedded fonts accepted
- EPS format accepted but not recommended due to possible font issues
 
Saving and Sending Files:
- Files should not exceed 1.5 GB
- Save in PC File Format
- No compression or zips
- All files should be flattened
* We accept files on Thumb Drives, CDs, DVDs or via FTP.
For fastest service, we suggest FTP for all but the largest files

File Names
- only alphabets, numbers, dash (-), underline __, and period ( . )
- no symbols

Deliverables:
- Final output for 'by the square foot' available in 24, 36, 44, 50, 60 and 64 inch measures.
- Concierge service prints trimmed per client specifications.
- "Stay Flat" envelope, shipping tubes & clear poly bags for packaging & shipping prints are available, as are shipping & delivery services.
